FuKazee is an AI training and Learning & Development company based in Nairobi, Kenya. Founded in March 2024 by Rodney Maina, it teaches corporate teams, postgraduate researchers, KCSE candidates, and Form 4 leavers to use AI for real work — from our home at Hack House Africa, 124 Manyani East Road, near ABC Place.

The Founder
Who founded FuKazee?
Rodney Maina founded FuKazee in March 2024 and serves as its Director. He studied Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Nairobi, specialising in Development Communication — with coursework in Communication Policy, Health Communication, and Communication and Behaviour Change — and graduated with First Class Honours.
During his university years he took on leadership roles at AIESEC, including Vice President of University & Alumni Relations, sharpening his organisational leadership and stakeholder engagement. After graduating, he moved into growth marketing at Shukran, a digital tipping FinTech serving Nairobi's hospitality sector, building growth strategy in a fast-moving startup environment.
Through all of it, teaching and empowering others remained the core passion — the thread that eventually pulled him away from the corporate marketing track. He left Shukran to found FuKazee, turning that interest in education and technology into a full-time venture built on one conviction: AI only matters when ordinary people — students, researchers, employees — can use it on the work in front of them, honestly and well.
Rodney still teaches inside every program line. Corporate sessions, the postgraduate cohort, and the KCSE examiner webinars all run with him in the room — which is why the training stays practical rather than theoretical.

Where is FuKazee based?
We work from Hack House Africa, 124 Manyani East Road, near ABC Place, Nairobi. The office is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In-person training, consultations, and the physical KCSE intensives all run from here.

How We Teach
Why does FuKazee training stick when so much AI training doesn't?
Most AI training fails the Monday-morning test: the workshop was exciting, and nothing changes the following week. FuKazee builds every program around the opposite outcome.
- We train on your actual work. Bank teams practise on banking workflows, researchers on their own literature, and KCSE candidates on real KNEC-style papers — not generic demos.
- We teach the rules, not just the tools. AI usage policy for organisations, academic integrity for postgraduates, and exam-safe study habits for students are built into the curriculum.
