When someone asks who offers the best AI training in Kenya, we would rather let the people we have trained answer. HackHouse Africa, the Nairobi home for startup founders, invited FuKazee to train its community and then put its recommendation in writing. Here is what the session covered and the letter in full.
What is HackHouse Africa?
HackHouse Africa supports entrepreneurs and early-stage startup founders in Nairobi. It is also where FuKazee is based, at 124 Manyani East Road, near ABC Place in Westlands.
The letter is signed by Innocent Magothe, Director of HackHouse and founder of Startinev.
What did HackHouse ask FuKazee to teach?
HackHouse invited FuKazee to train its community of entrepreneurs and startup founders on how AI should be used at different levels of a business. In the letter's words, the session ran "from founder and leadership decision-making through to day-to-day team and individual productivity".
The audience was non-technical. Most founders run small teams and wear several hats, so the session had to turn AI concepts into steps they could apply in their own ventures the same week.
What do those three levels mean in practice?
This is how we think about AI for a startup, and how we frame it for founders:
- The founder and leadership level. Using AI as a thinking partner: testing a decision from several angles, summarising market research, or drafting an investor update for the founder to check and finish.
- The team level. Agreeing how the team uses AI, so everyone prompts the same way and knows what never goes into a tool, such as customer data or unannounced numbers.
- The individual level. Saving hours on everyday work: emails, proposals, meeting notes, spreadsheets and social posts.
We teach with the free versions of the tools wherever we can, and we do not promote any single tool. Founders leave knowing how to choose.
What did HackHouse say about the training?
"Rodney brought clarity and professionalism to the engagement. He met our founders where they were, avoided unnecessary technical jargon, and structured the session so that participants left with concrete, usable steps rather than abstract theory."
Innocent Magothe, Director, HackHouse; Founder, Startinev
Is FuKazee the best AI training company in Kenya?
That is for clients to say, not us. Here is what some of them wrote on our Google Business Profile, where FuKazee holds a 4.9 rating from 38 reviews:
- "Best AI trainers in Kenya. They really helped me with my business incorporating AI in the biashara." Emmanuel N., founder of Noist Apparels
- "Best AI training in Nairobi for sure!" Nick M.
- "If you want to learn AI, these guys are genuinely the best." Kihonge K., business owner

The text of the letter reads:
RE: Letter of Recommendation, Rodney Maina Wanjohi / FuKazee
I am pleased to write this letter recommending Rodney Maina Wanjohi and his company, FuKazee, following their engagement with Hack House.
Hack House invited FuKazee to train our community of entrepreneurs and startup founders on how Artificial Intelligence should be used at different levels of a business, from founder and leadership decision-making through to day-to-day team and individual productivity. The session was designed for a non-technical audience of early-stage founders, and translated AI concepts into practical guidance our entrepreneurs could apply directly within their own ventures.
Rodney brought clarity and professionalism to the engagement. He met our founders where they were, avoided unnecessary technical jargon, and structured the session so that participants left with concrete, usable steps rather than abstract theory. This is precisely the kind of practical, founder-level AI literacy that a startup community like ours needs, and Rodney delivered it well.
We would be glad to work with FuKazee again and recommend Rodney without reservation to any organisation seeking practical, well-delivered AI training for a non-technical audience.
